Art Initiative Program

Easter Seals Southwest Florida has developed a unique art program for participants in their Adult Day Training program.  Many of the adults are very creative and this program is inspirational in helping the artists develop their talents and abilities.

All the artwork is for sale.  Proceeds benefit the artists and the Art Initiative Program to cover costs for supplies, framing, and other expenses.

About the Artists
The artists attend the Adult Day Training Program at Easter Seals Southwest Florida.  Many of these adults are in wheelchairs with limited mobility or have developmental disabilities.  Most of the artists receive a small disability income.  Sellng their artwork enables the artist to earn extra money while building their confidence and self-esteem.

About the Artwork
All the art on display was created by disabled artists at Easter Seals Southwest Florida under the direction and guidance of an Art Instructor and an Occupational Therapist.  The art includes various mediums such as pastels, acrylics, watercolors, pencils, and collage.
